Tutorial - Stamp Kissing

Hey there, Stampers.

Im going to refresh your technique memory or indeed introduce to an old favourite technique which can conjure a gazillion possibilities with all of your favourite stamps.  Stamp kissing isn't a brand new technique but it often becomes forgotten easily and can surprise you again and again when you think "Ooooh I forgot all about that" as you scrabble for your stamps and inks with relish; just to try it again.

Project of the Day :: Stamp, Resist, Cut title

Time for another video in our Stamped Titles for Scrapbook Pages series!  This time we're covering an emboss and resist technique featuring It's All About Flourishes. (By the way, they are in the sale at the moment!)

 

 

 

So... who out there has a lettering template that you could put to use?  (Or would you prefer to use your die cutting equipment these days?)

Stamping your scrapbook titles: Heat Embossing

In the second video of our Stamped Titles for Scrapbook Pages series, we cover basic heat embossing step by step.  This project features the Dominique Large letter set from Banana Frog, and if you like this font the smaller size is currently on sale for a crazily good price too, so get it while you can!

Stamping your scrapbook titles: The Basics

Not long ago, I asked what you would like to see in a Banana Frog stamping video, and many of you mentioned you would love some help for stamping titles on scrapbook pages.  Well, consider your request answered!  Over the coming weeks, we'll be sharing not just one but several videos covering a variety of ways to stamp your page titles with Banana Frog letter stamps!

Today we're starting with the basics -- you won't need anything fancy.  Just your letter stamps and acrylic block plus a basic black ink pad, scissors and a scrapbook page ready for a title.  For this tutorial I've used the large size of Budmo Jiggler -- it's extra easy because its blocky design makes it super easy to cut out with your scissors.

So have a look at how this comes together -- it only takes a few minutes to make a stamped title for your pages!

 

(Also, I promise I am learning something with each of these videos.  Today: impending rain makes for drastic changes in light.  I will try to schedule the next bit of filming with consistent weather!)
