Hi there everybody, today I'll show how to make a cute framecard using the stamps from the Kawaii kokeshi set. This is how mine will look like when finished:
These card are useful and will make (hopefully) everybody that gets it happy. When you have figured out how to make it, you won't stop because it's really simple and the result are very nice!
You will need:
Cardstock
Patterned paper
Scoring tool
Craft knife
Liner
Tape, glue
Decorations
Stamps from the stampset Kawaii Kokeshi
And of course Inkpads
Start by cutting your cardstock in 6’x12’, that is the cardbase.
Fold the cardbase (dotted line) at 6’ and then put this part away for a while.
Cut one piece size 6’x8’, this is the framepart.
Score the framepart at 0,5’, 1’, 7’ and 7,5’ (dotted lines). Look at the picture, and then fold.
Then score a square as shown at the picture. Cut the lines from corner to corner in the small square. Fold back as shown on picture.
Cut out the "inside" 4'x4' and decorate it. Mount into the frame using glue or tape.
To make a frame to the front, cut a piece 5’x6/8’ and then measure 6/8’ from the edge and cut out the square in the middle.
Finally when you’re finished with your decorations mount the framepart at the cardsbase with double sided tape.
Hope you're inspired and if you try make one yourself I'll be very glad if you leave a comment with a link so I can have a look!
