Welcome back to the second part of Colour Focus. Just a recap, this exquisite but rather expensive Japanese tea bowl was the subject of this month's Colour Focus:
Here's what the Froglets came up with:
Audrey created a 4x6 LO for her calendar frame. She made use of It's All About Hearts stamp set. The background was misted with the colours of the bowl.
Francine also produced a LO.As soon as she saw the inspiration, she thought immediately about using alcohol inks. She tried to recreate the effect of the bowl on the acrylic bird shape using five different colours of Alcohol Ink. First, she squeezed several drops of blending solution onto the shape, then she added the alcohol inks in drops and allowed them to run into each other. Once dry, she stamped with StazOn in brown ink on the other side of the shape. She cut out a speech bubble shape from patterned paper to use for the title block, which she stamped using the Pharmacy alphabet set.
Lory created a card using It's Al About Stars stamp set. She made an embellishment using the huge star image.
Here's a detailed view of it:
Marion used the latest stamp set Retro Space to create this adorable card, very suitable for a boy!
Finally, Nat made use of Retro Greetings and That Takes the Cake to create this birthday card, finished off with lots of glitter and glitter 3D accents.
Here's a close view of the card:
The colours from the bowl has certainly inspired the Froglets in various ways. Some have tried to re-create it using alcohol inks, another tried misting and while some merely used the colours from the bowl. How has this month's Colour Focus inspire you? Check back next month on the 4th for another new colour inspiration.
