I'm not sure about you; but I love die cut papers !
Especially when it has swirly borders; they look so wonderful !
I'm going to make use of Banana Frog's Circus Stories stamps to create one of our own.
Here are the materials that you need
- Banana Frog Circus Stories Stamps
- Embossing ink (I used Ranger distress embossing ink)
- Black Staz on ink
- EMbossing powder (I used American Craft Zing!)
- Silver glitter
- embossing heat gun, scissors, photo, pattern papers (i used Rose Moka)
okie, here we go! :
1. Using black ink, stamp Swirls (from Circus Stories Stamp set) onto a 9x9 " white cardstock.
Make sure the swirls are lined neatly, side by side and not overlapped.
Stamp around the 4 edges of the cardstock and cut around the contours.
You have your die cut paper.
2. Next, we shall create an embossed border around our photo.
Here, i mixed lime green embossing powder + silver glitter.
The proportion of the mix = one tablespoon of embossing powder + one tablespoon of glitter.
Stamp border (using embossing ink) around the photo. Here, i only stamped using a part of the swirl.
Pour (embossing powder + glitter)mix onto stamped image and shake off the excess.
Use heat gun to set embossing mix.
Once set, you have a nice glittery embossed texture.
Embellish and journal onto the page.
Here is the finished layout :
have fun stamping !!
