Hi fellow Frog stampers, today it's my turn to take you for stamping school and I have a beauty of a class too, Stamping with Bleach.
This is a great technique to use with your left over Cardstock scraps.
Right to get started first you will need Some Bleach, Paper Towel, old Container and your Banana Frog Stamps =)
To prepare the bleach fold up some paper towel into your old container and poor a little bleach onto this, the paper towel will absorb the bleach and act as your stamping pad, this also makes for an easy clean up after too ;)
Use a star stamp from the Its all about Stars set and using the bleach (instead of ink) stamp a line of stars on a strip of cardstock. Once this is dry cut it out and put to the side
Measure out a largish rectangle (large enough so you can place your patterned paper inside of it) onto a piece of 12x12 cardstock, lightly mark it with a lead pencil. Using a scallop stamp from the Its all about Scallops set stamp around the outside of this rectangle. Allow this to dry.
once it is dry (it doesn't take long) add in your patterned papers, photo and the strip of stars you stamped out earlier.
Above the papers and photo stamp 3 journaling blocks in 3 different sizes, here I have used one from the Its all about Stars set, Its all about Circles set and the Fanciful set. Once thats dry outline them all in a black gel pen then fill them up with your title and some paper embellishments and your journaling.
Lastly using one of the star stamps from the Its all about Stars set stamp it onto 2 different colours of cardstock, cut out the circle image from one and the star image from the other, mount the star onto the circle image with some foam tape and then adhere this to your layout.
And that's it.
Some tips for using bleach,
This works better on cardstock over patterned paper and any cardstock of a darker colour too.
Don't stamp directly onto your photo and don't allow your stamped images to get too close to your photo till you are certain they are 100% dry.
Do do this with your scrap cardstock, it is a fabulous way to start using them up.
Use tester pieces first to see what degree of colour change will happen.
AND remember to have fun with it =)
Thank you for taking part in Stamping School =)

Cool idea! Have never thought of that & can't wait to try it! Would be worried that perhaps the bleach would eat into the acrylic stamps but obviously not...
