Hi there, Anthea back again with today's Project of the day. Today I'm going to share a layout I made using some smaller stamps and creating my own Decorative Paper Strips.
Decorative paper strips are one of the 'in things' at the moment and what better then creating you own?!? For this strip I stamped an image from the Its all about Elegance set, turn the stamp upright and stamp the image close to itself along the length of the strip, once dry cut it out by hand with some scissors and then adhere to your layout.
On this strip I stamped with another stamp from the Its all about Elegance set, hand cut it out and then adhered it to my layout.
The beauty of doing this not only means that you can pick the stamps for the set theme you want for your layout but it uses up those scraps of paper and cardstock that build up over time.
For this strip I used another stamp from the Its all about Elegance set but used a different colour ink pad. I also stamped out the centre for the flower.
This layout was made entirely of scrap papers too, as much as I love cutting into my new papers I just get a little smile knowing I have used up papers from my scraps pile.
