Welcome to June's Colour Focus. This month's colour focus was inspired by the well-known chocolate maker Cadbury! With it's factory in Birmingham, UK, they have produced in the past, bright, colourful adverts. So without further ado, here's the inspired Ad:
Here's what the talented Banana Froglets came up with:
Amy produced a layout using stamp sets from Backgrounds, notably wood grain, stamp set.

Emeline played with a couple of wooden pegs and came up with this:
Francine recently had a baby and chose to make him the focus of her inspiration on this LO:
Emeline stamped onto wooden pegs. She opted to experiment with a different medium. Note that it takes a while longer for the ink to dry. These wooden pegs also function like paper clips.

She used stamp sets from Pharmacy, Make A Chain and It's All Arrow. She was happy to find an image of a vintage baby announcement in her stash. It was perfect for this month's inspiration piece. Here's a closer view of it:
Hannah has created a delightful vintage frame using Its All About Flourishes, Circus Stories and Whirligig and Paperchains stamp sets.
To get a vintage look, rub over your stamped images with a dark brown pigment ink pad. Here's a closer view of the project:
Marion used used Paperchains, Retro Squares and Greenwich Park stamp sets to create a
little notebook.
Stamped circles from Paperchains then punched out with
a larger circle punch and inked the edges. Coloured in the bird and
tree using water and versa color. To pattern the heart bunting, she inked
up the bunting in black then took one of the Retro Squares stamps and
"kissed" it to the bunting stamp, giving it a little wiggle to take off
the black ink then stamped it and cut it out. She also added a little
bird to each page inside.
Nat used stamp sets from Flowery Thoughts for the greeting and It's All About Circles to create the background.
Finally, Trish used All about Hearts (the swirl stamps round the edges made a lovely border!) and Teen Lower Case for part of the title.

She was inspired by
the vintage look for this layout and she ran an action on her photo in
Photoshop to give it that faded, vintage look. The papers are from
Basic Greys Wassail range. Here's a closer view of it:
We hope the girls have inspired you to take out your Banana Frog stamp set to play. As usual, if you do create anything with the stamps, do email us! We might just be featuring your artwork!

Good news for those who left comments for Kirsty. Here's what she has to say:
Thanks so much to everyone who left a comment on the pendant giveaway post. I’m really pleased so many people are planning to try out stamping on clay, and just as happy to have been inspired right back by your stamping suggestions. It would be lovely if I had enough prizes for each and every commenter, but you know how it goes – there can only be one winner and, courtesy of the Random Number Generator, it’s number 40.
