Hi all.
Before I begin with my project of the day, I have a confession to make....
I would have always been the first in the crowd, to hold up her hand and admit to not really being a "stamper" - sure I have plenty of stamps in my collection, but I would always use them to create cards or tags and very rarely would I find myself reaching to use them on my layouts - that was until I discovered Banana Frog stamps....and now I find that I can't stop stamping!!!
With my confession over, this is how I used patterned papers from 3ndypapir.no and Banana Frog stamps to put together this page -
Using the scalloped edge stamp from Its all about Scallops, I created a framed border for my photograph to sit inside. I thought this added a cute quirky touch to what is quite a whimsical page.
The small alphabet letters in the Paperchains set of stamps are the perfect size to use in the center of tiny tags - making them ideal for creating sub titles on your pages, or even as a greeting on a birthday card or tag.
Its all about Arrows, has to be one of my most favoured set of stamps - the circular disc being my favourite of them all. To create an instant embellishment, I stamped the image on to patterned paper before cutting out the design and attaching to the layout using a 3d foam pad.
I love how stamping offers me the free reins to create my own unique embellishments and no layout I now create ever feels really complete unless I've stamped something, somewhere on the page!
I guess you could say I've been well and truly converted thanks to Banana Frog stamps :D
