Today's featured stamp is from the latest Banana Frog release - It's All About Flourishes! This versatile set includes a journaling box, two corner pieces, one border and four additional swirl designs, all designed to be used together or on their own equally well.
Of course everyone is so busy, we often ask ourselves when we'll have time to craft! So today, we're playing a little game of 5-15-30: three projects you can make with this set with just five, fifteen or thirty minutes of crafting time.
For the super-last-minute card, pull this together in under five minutes:
Just stamp the border swirl at the top and bottom, stamp a smaller swirl on a large brad, then pull it all together with a large flower and some letter stickers. Easy peasy and classy!
If you have a bit more time, put this card together with some scraps in under 15 minutes. Use a border punch on some black cardstock, add a strip of patterned paper and stitch along the join. Stamp the journaling box twice - once straight on the card and once on a third piece of patterned paper. Cut out the box and stamp your greeting inside (this greeting is stamped with Dominique Upper and Lower). Add the box with pop dots, following the image stamped straight on the card so the swirls appear beneath the box. Add a row of brads for colour and dimension -- the swiss dot cardstock makes it easy to get the brads perfectly spaced in a straight line!
Or for thirty minutes of crafting fun, create a page like this. Spray white cardstock with Tattered Angels spray ink, and stamp a flourish in black once the spray has dried. Stamp a date or title with the Dominque letters and put the rest of the design together with layers of off-cut papers and die cuts.
And here's the GIVEAWAY! I have a set of It's All About Flourishes to send to a lucky reader!

I would love to see the stamps either at addicted to Scrapbooking (an online store) or Archiver's. Archiver's is really my go-to craft store lately.
Great contest, thanks for the tweet!

I'll start the ball rolling - I wish I could buy Banana Frog Stamps at Sainsbury's. That way I could sneakily add one set each week to the weekly shop and nobody would notice ;) I reckon I'd have the lot within 6 months - bliss!

I would love to buy Banana frog stamps in my local craft shop - as its on the same road as my new house so I can walk there in 5 minutes. Now was that the reason I bought this particular house????
Posted by: jo | May 05, 2009 at 08:53 PM
Ditto - Sainsburys. I also really miss being able to buy them direct from BF. Somewhere that stocked the whole range would be my dream, with regular live demos. I know, I don't want much do I?
Posted by: Julie | May 05, 2009 at 09:12 PM
Wow, love the new stamps! I wish I could buy them at Hobbycraft, as it's my closest craft store.
Posted by: Jenny | May 05, 2009 at 09:12 PM
I would like to buy Banana Frog Stamps right here! Because I get so inspired by these blog posts and then have to go searching for the stamps elsewhere, and then it becomes an 'oh I'll look at that later' job...
Or how about pitching to Amazon that they need to start a crafty store? Give them some soul!

I would love to see Banana Frog stamps at Tesco! Oops it just fell in to my trolley .... That WOULD be handy LOL
Seriously though I'd love to see the stamps made available to any good large online scrapbook store.
Thanks for the opportunity to enter a giveaway.

I love the stamp set. Since we have so very few scrapbook stores here in New Jersey (US) I would love to see Banana Frog stamps at a chain store such as Michaels or AC Moore.
Thanks for the great ideas !

I think either Hobbycrafts (now that we finally got one here in Edinburgh!) or Sainsburys would be great!
As for SB shop - it would be nice if A Trip Down Memory Lane would have Banana Frog Stamps.

Posted by: Sarah | May 05, 2009 at 11:34 PM
I'd like to buy them while on some exotic holiday, ahh the stuff dreams are made of. Failing that Tesco because if it's hidden in the food bill it doesn't count as spending on craft stash does it?

I would love, love, love to be able to get Banana Frog stamps on subscription straight to my door from Banana Frog HQ. I love every set you do and you never disappoint.

If you could stock up my local grocery store with some Banana Frog goodness I would have something to look forward to on my daily trips there.
Or I would love to buy them from an LSS in the Toronto area.
Posted by: Adrienne | May 06, 2009 at 01:16 AM
I wish Archiver's would carry them or a couple of my LSS's.

I do most of my shopping online, so Two Peas In A Bucket or Scrapbook.Com would be a nice place to find the stamps at... (Target is also a frequently visited place...)
Posted by: Avital | May 06, 2009 at 04:32 AM
Nothing sets the creative juices flowing like flourishes. I would so love to win these.
Banana Frog stamps are a rarity here in Canada

It would be really great to buy BF stamps where you do your grocery shopping - echoing loads of ladies above. BUT what about on your website Shimelle?
I would LOVE to be able to get them from shimelle.com; inspiration and stamps at the same time???? PERFECT!

Anywhere in Finland!!! We don't have a proper scrapbook store here, only a few online shops to buy scrapbook stuff...
Posted by: Veeruliiru | May 06, 2009 at 06:34 AM
I spend a lot of time at Archivers, so that would be a great place to see Banana Frog :)
Posted by: Dani | May 06, 2009 at 06:42 AM
While I agree with other posters about Sainsburys and Hobbycraft I have to say that ideally I would not buy Banana Frog Stamps at all.
In a perfect world my husband would regularly surprise me with small packages of Banana Frog loveliness and the encouragement to 'Go create. Take all the time you want, I will look after Everything Else.' *sigh*
Posted by: Trees | May 06, 2009 at 06:50 AM
Anywhere on Jersey would be great.

if given a chance i would love to purchase it at Shabby Chic here in Brunei Darussalam...

I'd love it if Shimelle had a subscription monthly membership and we got sent all the latest cool products including the BF stamps plus a project a month to complete.

I would love to be able to buy them here in Alberta, Canada. I haven't seen them anywhere yet.
Posted by: Ronni H | May 06, 2009 at 07:31 AM
Asda definitely. My nearest 'proper' scrapbooking supply shop is too far away to justify going very often but if they were sold in Asda I could look, stroke and maybe buy as often as I wanted.
Love flourishes by the way.

I would love to be able to buy them anywhere in the Netherlands!

i would love to be able to pick up my stamps with my other crafting goodies online - oh how I wish there was one online store I could buy my fave pp, alphas, inks, and stamps from?! A girl can dream huh??
Posted by: Leanne | May 06, 2009 at 08:30 AM
I think there should be a Banana Frog mobile shop that stops in the street and plays a tune, like the ice cream van!! Or Sainsburys would be ok ;)
Posted by: Clare Bird | May 06, 2009 at 08:30 AM
I'd love to see them available in craft shops down here in Tasmania, Australia!! Love them! "D
Posted by: Gina | May 06, 2009 at 08:33 AM

I wish I could by the stamps in an online shop in Sweden!
Love the swirl stamps, and your layout is really cute!
Posted by: Augusti_73/Anna | May 06, 2009 at 09:06 AM
While Tesco or Sainsbury's would be amazing, it might be possible to get them out to all those places that sell PaperMania? We have 2 very local stores that sell a lot of scrapbooking stuff, The PaperMill and Boundary Mill, either of those would be amazing and get them out across the country.
Posted by: BevS97 | May 06, 2009 at 09:46 AM
I would love to be able to buy it from my loval spotlight or target or big w - I love that they are getting bigger ranges in to please a evergrowing industry!! I love convenience shopping too - Im always in them kind of shops getting other stuff.

I'd love to find them in the grocery store *lol* More seriously, in any swedish online scrapbook store.
Posted by: Caroline | May 06, 2009 at 09:56 AM
Such a pretty set with amazing possibilities!
I wish I could find Banana Frog in a chain store. Honestly can say there aren't any local craft stores ANYWHERE near me due to them unfortunately shutting down.
Posted by: Christine | May 06, 2009 at 12:14 PM
I would love to buy Banana Frog Stamps at Michaels, Hobby Lobby or Achivers! Love the flourishes....AND the layout!
Posted by: Joanne | May 06, 2009 at 12:20 PM
I would love to see the stamps in Hobbycraft or the Range as there are the only craft shops we have nearby
Posted by: Rachel Howells | May 06, 2009 at 12:21 PM
All we have now are the "big box" stores, so that's where I'd love to find them. Finding good stamps (where you don't have to add the cost of shipping) is not an easy task anymore. We were totally spoiled for years with a great stamp store, but it's been gone now for over 2 years. The LSS are mostly gone as well.
Posted by: Karen | May 06, 2009 at 12:22 PM
Cool stamps! I wish they were available at Archivers. It's the only local scrapbook store left!
Posted by: Karen s | May 06, 2009 at 12:22 PM
I'd love to have a local craft shop at all to be able to buy them...but failing that Tescos would be my choice...popped into the trolley along with all the other essentials.
Posted by: JACKY SCALES | May 06, 2009 at 12:40 PM
We only have a Michaels and an A C Moore in my area so that's my choice. Your stamps are really nice and I'd love to find a store that carried them.
Posted by: Kathy | May 06, 2009 at 12:41 PM
These are so pretty!! Would look fabby on my wedding invites.
I wish I could buy BF stamps on Amazon. That way I can use my 5% student discount and put them on my wish list so everyone can buy them for me! :)
Posted by: Smeepee | May 06, 2009 at 12:58 PM
I would love to be able to buy the full range of BF stamps from Craft Obsessions. Agree with the comments about Tescos and Sainsburys too, but I think the hubby would soon spot the dramatic increase in the weekly shopping spend..
Posted by: SarahLP | May 06, 2009 at 01:16 PM
Hi,
I would be so happy if Banana Frog stamps could be bought in my local village. There's no craft shop, so our local vivo would do very well!
Posted by: Julie | May 06, 2009 at 01:30 PM
I don't know if we can get these stamps in the States so any online place like Scrapbook.com would be great! Thanks for the RAK and fabulous LO!
Posted by: ee k | May 06, 2009 at 01:40 PM
I'm not fussy really just somewhere in Aberdeen would be ace. Failing that Tesco would provide great cover from my hubby seeing them.
Posted by: Sonja | May 06, 2009 at 02:06 PM
Those are great stamps. I wish it was easier for me to get stamps like here in Portugal... I found it almost impossible to find most of the material I like here...
Posted by: Catarina Coelho | May 06, 2009 at 02:25 PM
Well since I don't have any local scrapbook stores near me my only access to craft supplies other than online is large retailers like Michael's stores. They have really expanded their stamp section lately and I think Banana Frog stamps would make a great addition! Thanks for the chance to win! Lynn :)
Posted by: Lynn Ghahary | May 06, 2009 at 02:33 PM
i also would love to buy them at joann's, its the only craft store that my kids are cooperative in :)
Posted by: elizabeth | May 06, 2009 at 02:33 PM
I wish I could buy Banana Frog stamps from my milkman! But failing that, my local craft shop would be great. Or what about a health food shop? Surely one set of Banana Frog stamps equals one portion of fruit/veg?? See how healthy they are?
Posted by: Deborah | May 06, 2009 at 02:41 PM
ooooh i'd love a chance to win!!!!
Posted by: Rhonda Steed | May 06, 2009 at 03:00 PM

I would love to see your stamps at a Joanns or Michaels, we live in an area with not many LSS very close, and these stores I go to every week!!

I was very happy to see Banana Frog stamps for sale on Willowtree Crafts website last week now all I have to do is decide which set I will buy first!! That's SOOOOO hard! :o) It would be great if I could buy the stamps in a shop within walking distance from my house, like the corner shop for instance! Sainsbury's or Tesco or Asda would be equally as good though.
Love reading this blog- it's so inspiring! Thank you!

Posted by: annie | May 06, 2009 at 06:21 PM
My dream would be to buy the stamps from a good local scrapbook shop. As there is not one in my area, my next wish would be to purchase them from one of the large online scrapbook stores in the U.K.
I have been desiring some good flourish stamps for a while now...these look just the job!

Definately at my local supermarket. That way each time I do shopping I can slip in a stamp set each week without my husband being any wiser when he checks out the credit card list :-)
Posted by: Lyndall | May 06, 2009 at 11:56 PM
My original idea for a place to buy the stamps would be at the supermarket or the petrol station, but you know I'd *really* like to pick some up in the work canteen alongside my sandwich :) I could spend my lunch hour stamping - I'm sure it would give the guys I work with some amusement!
