Hi
My project of the day this month is using Banana Frog stamps with Perfect Pearl powders. Stamps used are 'circles' from the 'its all about range' and 'Scribble Flowers'.
I stamped dark grey card with a 'circles' stamp and dusted it with several colours of Perfect Pearl powders. I feel that these powders work most effectively on a dark background as the colour is reflected back. The irridescent powders look flat when viewed face on but when tilted to the light the colours 'pop' and sparkle beautifully - Lush!
I created the card by die cutting an aperture in the card blank with my Cuttlebug and a Nestability die. I also die cut a white panel and a grey stamped panel. These were layered onto the acetate that was mounted over the aperture. I like playing around with the positive and negative space on a card design and here it appears that the central panels are suspended within the aperture. To finish I had to add some flowers - of course!
Here is a detail shot of the tag - created using the corner panel of the 'circles' stamp set. I've punched holes into some of the stamped circles and embellished with a bit of 'bling' (flat back gems and stickles)
Thanks for looking!
Jo
