Hi
This is my very first 'Project of the Day' and I've chosen to make a simple(ish) card and tag. One of my plans for this year is to stop using white card stock as the base for my cards so, starting as I mean to go on, I've chosen a kraft tone for the card and a co-ordinating green for the tag.
The stamps are Willing Race and the patterned paper is from my all time favourite Basic Grey range 'Scarlett's letter' - its one of those papers that I don't really want to use on any projects because then I won't have it any more to just sit and look at! But use it I shall - and I've used it on these pieces so you too can enjoy its loveliness! Along with the loveliness of the stamps of course!
To create the card (6x6in) I cut a 4inch circle from the Basic Grey paper and postioned it in the centre of the card. I stamped 'thanks' around the edge of the circle. Banana Frog stamps are clear which means you can see exactly where you are positioning them - which makes them ideal when you want to stamp close up to something or around an unusual shape like the decorative paper circle on this card.
Add some paper flowers, a button and some bling and its done!
Take care,
Jo

Gorgeous! I love the lettering around the circle and also how you've mixed the plain kraft cardstock with the sparkly jewels - so cool.
