I'm still in Christmas mode and so for my last project of the day of 2010 I've created 3 christmas cards - they are all on a theme but all slightly different - great for creating several cards quickly because you are using the same stamps, inks and embellishments on each card..
All the cards have been created on a oatmeal coloured card. Inks used are archival black, versacolor silver, and opaque white.On the card above I used the smallest snowflakes from the Retro Snowflakes set of stamps, with black ink to create a flourish across the card. The snowflakes have been embellished with a white pen and red stickles to co-ordinate with the red paper. The sentiment is from Retro Christmas.
On both of the above cards I used the sentiment from Retro Christmas.
I used the spotted swirl from the Scribble Flower set on this last card, and the snowflakes from Winter
Wonderland, along with Retro Snowflakes. Using white and silver inks has given this card a more subtle look than the other two cards (more traditional?). I like making cards when one inspires the next one - it has a knock on effect - so a group of a cards on a theme are created.
