Hi all, today I'd like to share a super simple but oh so effective project for a table decoration. Mine is a Christmas project but there are so many fabulous Banana Frog stamps that will work with this idea, the only limit is your imagination!!
The ingredients
For this project I have used the Blizzard stamp set, one of my Christmas favourites, although there are so many new christmas stamp sets that this project will work with! I also used an A4 laminator pocket, a laminator!! Some tissue paper in shades of blue, white glitter, Big and juicy ink pad in waterfall and a set of battery operated LED fairy lights.
I filled the laminated pocket with stamped images of the snowflakes from the bizzard set using the big and juicy ink pad for varied colours of blue.
I then added in the pocket some tissue paper in shades of blue. Scrunch it, rip it and tear it to really make it look like tissue paper once it is laminated. Once all the tissue paper was in position I sprinkled it with some glitter for added Christmas sparkle.
Once all the pockets were filled I laminated them and set to setting in the fairy lights. These were a cheap set bought in a pound shop labelled garden parasol lights .... bargain!
I pierced random holes in the lamination to fit the bulbs through.
and then pushed the bulbs through the holes
Once all the lights are fitted I simply rolled the lamination round and glued it together down the seam. The battery pack can be pushed inside the laminated tube once it is turned on.
And as a variation I added a battery operated tea light to this one.
Imagine what you could create with the new Banana Frog Christmas stamps!!
Have a go at creating your own table centre pieces, I'm sure they'll be a talking point at any party with the fabulous Banana Frog stamps!
Thanks for hopping by and I'll see you soon, Until then Happy Stamping
Love
M x
