I love embossing on many levels, it makes work stand out, it brings a pop to colours but most of all i love the 'almost there' look that embossing white on white, blue on blue, pink on pink makes.
The colour list is endless and as long as you have a good supply of embossing powders and coloured card the world is your oyster!
You can make your own patterned paper - just think of how much you spend on embossed or glittered cardstock and paper!
I used a simple white on white technique for this card using the Its all About Flourishes stamp set,
combine with an edging technique (ie.. run and edger or your nail underneath the edges of the papers to 'flick' them up)
and you have a card fit for anything from a birthday to a wedding!
