Project of the Day - Spaced Our Banner!

I think my love of bunting is well known but having 4 boys makes it hard to decorate or create pretty signs etc for their rooms!  That is why i love the Retro Space stamps - so much fun, so easy to use and so creative!

Here is a little step by step on making an out of this world banner for a bedroom door :)

You will need a set of Retro Space stamps, plain card, ink, embossing powder, string, a good pair of scissors and a heatgun.

Stamp the planet 4 times and emboss.

Cut out and fold these in half.

Place back to back with double sided tape and before you get to the last one insert the string down the middle.

Fasten in place the last piece, emboss down each join to seal the edges and move to one side while you work on your banner name and embellishments.

Stamp out and colour some of the spaceships and punch out some star shapes.  Attach these with double sided sticky pads to the name on your banner.

 

Attach banner to door or notice board  -  you now have your own customised Out of This World Boys Banner! :)  Finished picture taken at night to show the spacey theme :)

 This can be adapted for either boys or girls - i think a pink planet and little glittery space ships would appeal to many! :)
