Project of the day :: seeing stars!!

Hi Frog followers! 

Is everyone getting geared up for christmas yet?  Christmas is arriving in the high street and the first advertisements have been on the TV (!) so I thought I'd better get a wiggle on if I'm giong to be ready for the big man in the red suit with the even bigger 'ho ho ho'! lol 

For my project this month I've used the 'its all about.... stars' to decorate a twisted wood ring.  I love these stamps - love the swirls inside the stars.  I stamped the images onto white card and embossed them in silver.  To the plainer of the stars I added a button and a gem, and the swirly stars have just gems. I attached them to the ring which I wrapped in ribbon.  The wire has been curled around a stick to create a spring-like effect.

  

Now the ring just has to wait for the tree to go up or the swag across the hearth to find its proper place with the christmas deccy's!
