Today we are looking at Retro Squares. It is set which has different funky background stamps and are great for cards as well as scrapbooks.
So let's start off with a fun card from Julie. She thinks she may have found the ideal Banana Frog tartan by using two of the stamps. I think she might be right! This would look great in other colours too.
Next we have a bright and really effective tag by Nat. A tip for this, Nat used the Versacolor ink daubers to pick out each circle in a different colour. I am definitely going to be using this idea!
Also using the circles, Kirsty stamped on ribbon for a lovely finishing touch to a vase of flowers. I love this idea. You could make your own co-ordinated ribbon for cards, layouts or gift wrapping.
Finally, a few days ago we had some friends over for dinner and I decided to fancy things up. I made wrappers for chocolates using the argyle pattern stamp. Everyone thought they were exceedingly posh chocolates and it would be a great idea for wedding or birthday favours as well as dinner treats!
