Welcome to March's edition of Colour Focus. This month, the girls were challenge to scrap according to the colour wheel:
The girls were asked to select a particular colour scheme based on the colour wheel i.e. monochromatic, complimentary etc. and use it in their pages. As usual, they rose to the challenge and came up with some fantastic creations!
Here's what the girls did:
Amy used the Tetradic (double complementary) color scheme. The stamps she used was Steelfish outline numbers.

Here's a close up look at it:
Julie used a complementary colour scheme of vivid orange and warm turquoise. She made use of 'Sewing Kit' set of stamps.
Nat used a split complimentary colour scheme. It's a really effective look where you put warm colours against cool, so her favourite combination of red, turquoise and orange (plus a dash of white) were perfect for this.
She used Pharmacy (regular set), Scribble Flowers, and Make a Chain stamp sets.
Here's a close-up look at her:
Finally, Trish used an accented analogic colour scheme (blues and greens are next to each other on the colour wheel and brown is opposite). She used stamp sets from Budmo Jiggler, All About Hearts, All About Documenting and the little flower behind the buttons is from Quirky Numbers.

The talented girls have done a great job using the colour wheel. It is a useful tool for helping one to play with colours on your pages. If you are a little confused as to how to use the wheel, here are some helpful sites to guide you:
