Hello to our fellow blog readers. This is Anthea, and I am from Australia. This is also my first post for the Banana Frog blog and I am so excited to be here!! =)
Today I wanted to post a layout that I created using Banana Frog stamps. Here I have created some hand made embellishments and a little masking too.
For the embellishments I used the gorgeous Greenwhich Park stamp set. First I stamped the solid shapes onto cardstock and then stamped over them again using the outline stamp that matched that shape, I then hand cut the stamped images out. With my Tree I stamped this image twice, once on to Kraft cardstock, and a second time on to green cardstock, I then handcut both out and used foam tape under the tree top to make it pop and then placed these on the layout.
I also did a little masking, as usual I didnt plan this layout out and wanted to do some stamping where I had already attached some patterned paper. This is a easy and quick technique and what I did was very basic
I took some scrap paper and then placed it over the area that I didnt want the stamp to end up on.
I then placed my stamp on my acrylic block, here I have used Round in Circles and stamped my image
I wanted to stamp again with 2 more smaller circles from the same set, so I used the masking technique again.
The title of this layout is Pharmacy and since playing around with this stamp set I have found out that it is also perfect for journaling too.
Up the top of the layout I placed some masking tape and then stamped over it using the Sewing Kit set.
So there you have it, my first project for Banana Frog.
Thankyou for popping by and dont forget to say 'Hi'
