Walking in a Winter Wonderland!

Winter Wonderlandsmall

We had the first snow of the winter on Tuesday - of course I had to go and take photo's! We went for a walk and I got some great pictures of the local scenery, but I think this one of the huge willow tree in my front garden has to be one of my favourites.

I used Banana Frogs Thiamine to stamp the title onto light blue cardstock, and then just highlighted the edges with a Marvy glitter pen (it's hard to see on the picture, but it's nice and glittery in real life!). I then used the dotty circle from Concentric to stamp a background pattern onto the black cardstock. I love the look of white ink on black, but I struggled for ages to find an inkpad that worked well. I've used the Brilliance Dew Drop in Moonlight White here and it seems to have done the trick! I finished of with a little strip of ric rac, frayed at the ends and attached with a couple of brads, and some journalling strips I printed on the computer. A simple layout in less than an hour!

Glad you like snow, I have a couple of feet, want some?! LOL
The dotty circle looks like snowflakes assembling to be snowballs, neat!
