Let there be light...

Those dark winter nights are most definitely setting in and after seeing these cute little lamps in my local supermarket for only £2.50! I decided they would be just the thing to cheer up my bedside table as the nights get cold.

I used the paperchain set of stamps to create a pretty edging at the top and bottom of the shade and the middle section was decorated with the pattern blocks and circus stories stamp sets.

It reminds me a bit of a retro circus pattern and certainly gives enough light to chase those winter blues away :)

Have fun!

What a great creation! love the cheerful pink and the heart borders. One of these days I have to get me some lamps to alter! I keep looking at them but can't decide which one to try :)
