She's a perfect 10

Trish has put together details on how to create this gorgeous layout.

Perfect10bf_3

Supplies used -

Websters Pages Pink Lemonade Collection in “Sugar Cookie” and “Truffle”

Cream Cardstock

Cream Cardstock for stamping

Banana Frog Tropical Garden Stamps

Gems / Bejeweller

Various inks (I used Versamark cubes in the following colours – Sand Beige, Topaz, Cocoa, Orchid and Olive)

Step 1 –

Cut your papers down to the following sizes

“Sugar Cookie” stays at 12x12 inches

“Truffle” 8 ¾ x 8 ¾ inches

Cream cardstock 8x8 inches

Step 2 –

Decide on your title. I printed mine straight onto the cardstock but you could use anything, stamps, letter stickers, whatever you like! Arrange your title on the left side of the 8x8 piece of cream cardstock and stick down when you are happy with how it looks. Place your photo on the right hand side of the 8x8 piece of cream cardstock at a slight angle, and stick down when you are happy with the placement. Now, ink the edges of the 8x8 piece of cream cardstock (I used Topaz, Sand Beige and Orchid for this) and place to one side.

Step 3 –

Stamping! Using the Tropical Garden set, I stamped 3 of the large flower, 2 large leaves and one small leaf. For the flowers, I first stamped the image in Sand Beige. I then inked the outer part of the stamp with Topaz and stamped over my image again. Finally I inked the edges of the stamp with the Orchid pink ink, and stamped over the image once more. Don’t worry about lining the images up exactly, it really doesn’t matter! Once you have the three flowers stamped, you can cut them out, and then ink the edges again with Orchid for more definition. For the leaves, I stamped in Sand Beige first, and then inked the outer part of the stamp with Olive and stamped over the image again. Again, once you have stamped all your leaves, cut them out and ink the edges again with Olive.

Step 4 –

Take your piece of Truffle paper and ink the edges – I used Cocoa for this. Place the Truffle paper on top of the Sugar Cookie paper at an angle. The 8x8 piece of cream cardstock goes on top of this, but place this lined up straight on the paper, not angled. I left about an inch gap between the cream cardstock and the edge of the Sugar Cookie backing page. Once you are happy with the position of your papers stick them down.

Step 5 –

Now its time to place your stamped embellishments on the page. I used sticky foam pads on two of the flowers to lift them off the page a little. Finally, stick some gems into the centre of your stamped flowers and around your title. All done!
